Under new owner now. Used to order sandwiches for the company and the food was always great. The last order was a disaster. Called at 9am to pick up at 12:45pm and requested 22 veggie, BLT and egg sandwiches. Upon pickup, was told that they had to charge me an extra fee because they had to run out to IGA to pick up extra ingredients! When I got to the office, I could not find any veggie sandwiches. When I called back, they said that they replaced my veggie ones with tuna because they didn't have enough avocados!! Overall: sandwiches are dry. I miss the previous owners.

For a good cup of coffee and a hearty lunch, there isn't a better option near the SeaBus. Straight-forward sandwich combo options, with several (made in-house) soups and salads to choose from. All of their sandwiches are made by hand while you wait, and are both filling and delicious. There is also at least one lunch special, running the gamut from baked pasta to rice-bowl dishes (the owners are Korean, and they all know their way around various cuisines from both sides of the Pacific, believe me).
The staff is a friendly family affair, and when they aren't busy with the lunch rush I've often had really nice conversations with the owner.
When my North Van job moved its offices, by far the worst thing wasn't the added commute time, it was losing easy access to this place. -

Love this place! Staff is great and the food is the same! Roast beef Sandwich is one of my favorite but the Thursday special of Spicy pork is fantastic!

I have been going for here since I started working on the North Shore 2 years ago. The coffee is OK, but the soup and sandwiches are delicious. What sets this place apart is the staff, who are always quick to say hello, and seem to know everybody by name. They also give out coffee cards, which I never manage to fill out. Well, they fill out mine for me, which may not seem to be much, but I love it! Keep up the good work!
